Western Saddle, English Saddle, Bareback….. Whatever your style is, you can find a great neighborhood that has horse tracks, stables, stalls and corrals. Although much of the interior parts of Las Vegas and Henderson do not have trails to ride, there are many places to saddle up towards the outskirts of town. The desert is a wonderful place to explore by horse and Las Vegas and Henderson has great weather year-round.
There are many properties with acres of land for riding, training and the space for horse stables. Some communities have riding paths around the exterior of the homes and some even have shared stables.
Las Vegas hosts many Equestrian Shows and Rodeos. South Point Arena which is part of the South Point Casino on the south end of The Strip sometimes hosts more than 4 shows a month. There is also Horseman’s Park located in the east part of the valley. They have 8 barns with 320 permanent stalls, great arenas and they host many equestrian themed events throughout the year.
